- Professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Lisboa. Professor of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences at the University of Lisboa.
- Visiting professor of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Sciences on other Portuguese Universities.
- Consultant of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences: Forensic Odontologist at the Portuguese Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences.
