- Dr. Vikas Anand Saharan is Professor & Head Department of Pharmaceutics at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Sardar Bhagwan Singh Post Graduate Institute (SBSPGI) of Biomedical Sciences and Research, Balawala, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
- He has 14+ years teaching and research experience.
- He graduated (B.Pharm.) from SBSPGI, obtained his masters from NIPER, Mohali and awarded Ph.D. from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur.
- He qualified GATE 1999 with 97.30 percentile score and all India rank 74.
- His additional educational qualifications includes Certificate Course on IPR, PG Diploma in Patent Laws and PG Diploma in Pharma Regulatory Affairs.
- He has guided more than 50 pharmacy graduate students for project work and/or Assignments and supervised 21 M.Pharm. thesis.
- He is life member of APTI, APA-IDMA, LASA, and InPharm Association.
- His work had led to 1 book, 1 book chapter and 44+ papers in national and international journals and 50+ submitted presentations at scientific meetings/conferences.
- He is editorial board member of 20+ international and national journals and actively involved in peer-review process of 20+ international and national journals.
- His name has been included and biography is published in "Marquis Who's Who in the World" 2009-2016th Editions each year and "Marquis Who's Who in Science and Engineering" 2011-2012.
- He has been awarded a grant of Rs. 7.5 lac by AICTE for Modernization of Pharmaceutics Laboratory at SBSPGI.
