Biography
- Steven joined CIFF in 2014 from the World Wildlife Fund in the United States where he was Chief Conservation Officer and responsible for improving WWF’s measurement and innovation capability, including in climate change.
- From 2002 to 2012, he was first Research Director and then Chief Technical Officer of Population Services International, leading research and development and learning for social marketing and behaviour change interventions for health programmes in nearly 70 developing countries.
- Steven has also worked at the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research in health systems and technology assessment, Marie Stopes International in reproductive health service delivery and the Peace Corps in agricultural market development in Togo.
- He has authored articles on performance measurement in social marketing and social franchising.
