- Dr. Mohammad Nahid Siddiqui, Associate Professor of Chemistry at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
- Areas of research included but not limited to residue upgrading, desulphurization, asphaltenes, aging and polymer modification of asphalts, chemical recycling of waste plastics, polymer composites and removal of water pollutants.
- Granted 7 US patents and 7 patents are pending with USPTO. Published more than 130 papers in Journals & conferences, 1 book, 1 book chapter.
- 14 research projects funded by KACST/KFUPM completed & 4 are in progress as of March 2016.
