- Min Xia is Professor of Nutrition and Food Hygiene and has been associate Dean of School of Public Health since 2013.
- His particular field of interest is in the association between dietary factors or nutritional status and risk of several chronic diseases, including obesity, type2 diabetes and coronary heart disease, especially the molecular pathogenic mechanisms of atherosclerosis and its prevention and treatment.
- He has been invited as regular reviewer of many scientific journals and has published a lot of scientific research papers in highly prestigious journals such as Circulation, Circ Res, Hepatology etc.
