- Dr. Qiu is a breast surgeon at the Breast Center, Cancer Hospital of Shantou University Medical College.
- He got his M.D. in 2010 and started his specialist training at the Cancer Hospital of Shantou University Medical College.
- In 2015, he started his Ph.D. at University Medical Center Groningen (The Netherlands).
- His research interest mainly focuses on optical imaging guided surgery and personalized treatment for breast cancer.
