- Ph.D. in Cellular and Tissue Biology (2007) on the Institute of Biomedical Science I, University of São Paulo.
- He has currently associated researcher with the group of Metabolism and Cancer of ICB I / USP.
- The research subject is morphological and functional alterations of adipose tissue in different situations, such as exercise and physical training, as well as in diseases such as cancer cachexia.
- In this context, we studied the possible anti-inflammatory effects on immune cells and adipose tissue and thus operate on the following subjects: adipose tissue, cytokines, cachexia associated with cancer, immune system and exercise.
