- Dr Velusamy is a Senior Lecturer in Electronic Engineering at School of Engineering, Manchester Metropolitan University.
- Dr Velusamy has an established a track record in devising smart bio/chemical sensors and implementation of integrated biotechnological solutions for wide range of applications.
- Her multidisciplinary research focuses into sustainable water resource management and remote monitoring of water quality;
- implementation of the IOT in biotechnological applications; integrated portable device development;
- modified electrodes using nano biomaterials for environment and healthcare sensing;
- and development of wearable devices for sports and healthcare applications.
