Education:

  • 2009 – PhD in Clinical and Experimental Biotechnology in Veins and Lymphatics Diseases. Faculty of Medicine. Department of Surgical Science. University of Perugia, Perugia – Italy.
  • 2004 – Specialization Degree in Vascular Surgery. After completion of  5 – years period clinical training at  Vascular Surgery Residency Programme . Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine. University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro. Catanzaro – Italy.
  • 1999 – Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) – University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro. Catanzaro – Italy.

Academic Qualifications:

  • In the session of the year 2016 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification (art.16 of the law 30 December 2010, n.240) to function as Full Professor of Surgery.  
  • In the session of the year 2013 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification (art.16 of the law 30 December 2010, n.240) to function as Associate Professor of Heart, thoracic and vascular surgery.

Current Position:

  • 2025- to date. Full Professor of Vascular Surgery – University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro. Catanzaro – Italy.

Previous Position:

  • 2008 – to date. Assistant Professor of Surgery – Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences. – University Magna Graecia of Catanzaro. Catanzaro – Italy.
