- I got my under graduation in Dentistry at Federal Fluminense University and my M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees at São Paulo University.
- I am an Associate professor at Federal Fluminense University, where I coordinate the Graduate Program in Restorative Dentistry.
- Since 2013, I am a Researcher with research productivity fellowship from the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development-CNPq.
