Biography
Francesco Mangano, PhD, is a Lecturer at Sechenov University, Moscow, Russia, specializing in dental implants and digital dentistry. He graduated with full marks (110/110 cum laude) from the Dental School of the University of Milan and completed his PhD at the Department of Surgical and Morphological Science, University of Insubria (formerly University of Varese). His most-cited work, "Intraoral scanners in dentistry: a review of the current literature" (2017), has received 635 citations, and he has authored more than 41 indexed publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Mangano has served as Professor of Periodontology at the Dental School, University of Varese (2012-2013), and as Scientific Coordinator of the Master in Digital Dentistry at the same institution, and continues to contribute as a reviewer for several high-impact journals.
