Registered reviewers are not obligated to accept every invitation. We understand that availability varies, and declining invitations when you cannot provide timely, quality reviews is appreciated. Active reviewers who consistently provide thorough, constructive reviews may be invited to join the editorial board. Consistent delivery of high-quality reviews demonstrating balanced assessment, constructive recommendations, and timely completion distinguishes exceptional reviewers who merit consideration for expanded editorial responsibilities. Your reviews contribute directly to publication quality and help emerging researchers improve their work through thoughtful, actionable feedback that advances scientific communication standards.
Review Recognition: JDRR provides annual certificates documenting review contributions suitable for tenure and promotion files. We also acknowledge reviewers in annual reports published on the journal website.
Invitation Process
Registered reviewers receive invitations based on keyword matching with submitted manuscript topics. You are never obligated to accept invitations and should decline when timing conflicts, expertise mismatches, or conflicts of interest exist. Prompt responses to invitations, whether accepting or declining, help editors maintain efficient review timelines for authors. We recommend responding within 48 hours even if declining.
Invitation frequency varies based on manuscript submissions in your expertise areas. Active reviewers who consistently deliver quality, timely reviews receive priority for manuscripts closely matching their expertise. Reviewers who wish to adjust their keyword profiles or temporarily suspend invitations should contact the editorial office.
