Ideal Candidate Profile

We welcome applications from researchers with demonstrated expertise across experimental and clinical toxicology subspecialties. Successful candidates bring strong publication records, active research programs, and commitment to scholarly service supporting community research dissemination.

Research Expertise

Active research program in toxicology or related fields with recognized expertise in your specialty area. Understanding of current methodological standards and emerging research directions in your subspecialty.

Publication Record

Strong peer-reviewed publication history demonstrating scholarly productivity and familiarity with academic publishing processes. Publications in respected toxicology venues establish credibility with authors and reviewers.

Peer Review Experience

Prior experience as manuscript reviewer demonstrating ability to provide constructive, timely evaluations. Familiarity with ethical standards and quality expectations for scholarly publishing.

Submit applications to [email protected] with subject line "Editorial Board Application" including current CV with complete publication list, brief statement of research interests and editorial vision, and indication of specialty areas where you would contribute editorial expertise.

Applications are reviewed by Editor-in-Chief considering applicant expertise, geographic and specialty diversity needs, and current board composition. Successful applicants receive formal invitation letter outlining responsibilities and expectations. Most applications receive response within 2-3 weeks.

Service Expectations

Editorial board members handle 10-15 manuscripts annually depending on specialty submission volume. Members should respond promptly to assignment notifications and maintain reasonable turnaround times. Participation in annual board discussions and policy reviews is appreciated but not required.
